Join Us Monthly for Yoga Nidra This Summer! Weekly Classes Will Resume in the Fall
At ReStory Yoga, we believe that education, movement, and community should never be out of reach. That’s why we offer donation based yoga—also known as pay what you can yoga. It’s our way of making sure that everyone, no matter their financial situation, has access to healing tools and nervous system support.
Donation based yoga is exactly what it sounds like. Instead of a fixed price, you choose the amount that feels right and manageable for you. There’s no pressure—just an open door. You’re welcome whether you can give a little, a lot, or nothing at all.
We use the phrase pay what you can yoga because we want everyone to feel like they belong—no matter their financial situation. We understand that what you’re able to give may change from week to week. Some days it might be $2, other times $20. Whatever the amount, you are welcome, and your presence matters.
Your support helps keep these classes going and available for others. If you’re in a place to give a bit more, you’re helping make space for someone else who might not be able to pay right now.
Mental Health and Trauma don't discriminate. It can impact people from all walks of life—regardless of income, background, or life stage. And yet, healing resources like therapy, yoga, and body-based practices often come with a price tag that many simply can’t afford.
We believe that nervous system regulation, trauma-informed care, and safe spaces for healing are human needs, not luxury items. Our donation based yoga model helps break down financial barriers so that people can access support without added stress or shame.
It’s also a beautiful way to create a community of care. Those who are able to give more naturally support those who can give less. Everyone contributes in their own way—through presence, energy, kindness, and if possible, a donation.
Our pay what you can yoga classes are especially supportive for:
Those navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, or burnout
People exploring healing practices for the first time
Caregivers, college students, teachers, and anyone feeling stretched thin
Anyone seeking community, rest, and mindful movement without financial stress
Whether you're searching online for donation based yoga near me or simply want a gentle, welcoming space to breathe and move, we’re here for you.
One of the beautiful things about ReStory Yoga is that you don’t have to live nearby to be part of our community. We offer our pay what you can yoga classes over Zoom, so you can join from the comfort of your home—no matter where you live.
Whether you're across town or across the country, you’re invited to move, breathe, and rest with us. All you need is a quiet space, a device with internet, and a willingness to show up just as you are.
We keep our virtual classes simple and welcoming, and you're always in control of your camera and level of participation. You can drop in quietly or join the chat and connect—whatever feels best for you that day.
ReStory Yoga classes are trauma-informed, beginner-friendly, and deeply grounding. We often incorporate:
Breathwork and nervous system education
Gentle movement (yin and restorative yoga)
Somatic practices to release tension
Meditation and guided relaxation
Journaling or reflection for inner clarity
You are always in charge of your experience. We offer options and support, not pressure. Come as you are, and move in a way that feels right for your body that day.
If you’ve ever felt like yoga wasn’t “for you” because of pricing, perfectionism, or past experiences—we hope ReStory Yoga offers you a fresh start, a place to reset and find your own pace.
We invite you to try a class, bring a friend, or simply come rest. Whether you're donating $1 or $100, or just showing up with an open heart, you are welcome here.
