Join Us Monthly for Yoga Nidra This Summer! Weekly Classes Will Resume in the Fall
At ReStory Yoga, we believe that mental and emotional well-being should never be out of reach. That’s why we offer donation-based yoga—also known as pay what you can yoga. It’s our way of making sure that everyone, no matter their financial situation, can access supportive tools for managing stress, anxiety, and overwhelm.
Donation-based yoga is just what it sounds like: instead of a fixed cost, you choose the amount that feels manageable for you. There’s no pressure—just an open invitation to breathe, move, and rest. Whether you can give a little, a lot, or nothing at all, you are welcome here.
We use the term pay what you can because we want every person to feel like they belong. We know that what you can give may shift from week to week—sometimes it’s $2, sometimes $20. Whatever the amount, your presence matters, and your care for yourself is valid and valuable.
If you're in a place to give more, your contribution helps keep these classes available for others who may not be able to pay right now.
Mental health challenges affect people from all backgrounds—regardless of income, identity, or stage of life. And yet, wellness tools like yoga, mindfulness, and nervous system education often come with barriers that make them inaccessible for many.
At ReStory Yoga, we believe that rest, emotional regulation, and self-connection are essential needs, not luxuries. Our donation-based model removes financial pressure, so that support for your mental health can be something you choose—not something you have to earn.
It’s also a way to build community. Everyone contributes in their own way—through presence, compassion, shared energy, and when possible, a donation.
These classes are created with mental and emotional wellness in mind. They may be especially supportive if you are:
Feeling anxious, burnt out, or overwhelmed
Wanting a soft place to land at the end of the day
Exploring ways to care for your mind and body gently
A caregiver, student, teacher, or anyone stretched thin
Curious about yoga but intimidated by the typical studio setting
Whether you’ve searched “donation-based yoga near me” or simply need a space to pause and exhale, we’re here for you.
You don’t have to be local to be part of ReStory Yoga. Our classes are held on Zoom, so you can join from home—wherever that may be.
All you need is a quiet space, internet access, and a willingness to show up as you are. Cameras can be on or off, and you’re always free to participate in whatever way feels most supportive that day.
ReStory Yoga classes are trauma-informed, beginner-friendly, and deeply grounding. We often incorporate:
Breathwork and nervous system education
Gentle movement (yin and restorative yoga)
Somatic practices to release tension
Meditation and guided relaxation
Journaling or reflection for inner clarity
You are always in charge of your experience. We offer options and support, not pressure. Come as you are, and move in a way that feels right for your body that day.
If yoga has ever felt out of reach—too expensive, too fast-paced, too perfect—we hope ReStory Yoga offers something different. A reset. A return to yourself.
You don’t need to be flexible, experienced, or “good” at yoga to join. Just come as you are, with whatever you’re carrying.
Whether you’re able to donate $1, $10, or nothing at all, you are welcome here.
